Loved the luxury room, but the heating was unbearable at 30C.

Air conditioning was off during my stay in October, making the room a bit uncomfortable. a ventilator was provided but was a workaround, not a solution. The swimming pool has seen better days, and the overall state of the hotel felt stuck in the past with peeling paint near the windows and limited dining options that left something to be desired, especially for a French hotel.

The brekkie spread was out of this world—lekker mix of local and Western options! Loved chilling at the pool, even if it was a bit busy. The staff were super friendly and always ready to lend a hand. Big shouts to the concierge who made our trip smooth as butter!

I absolutely loved the Junior Suite's spaciousness and the luxurious bathroom! Breakfast was a delight with lots of Western options. Only downside was the pricey laundry service. 😅

I had a fantastic stay at the Sofitel Xi’an On Renmin Square. The Junior Suite King Bed was spacious with a great bathroom featuring both a shower and bath. I loved the afternoon tea service from 3:30 to 5 pm. it had a range of teas and delicious cakes. The evening offerings were a highlight too, especially the sushi and cocktails! The staff excelled in their service. Kevin, the concierge, went above and beyond to help us retrieve my husband's phone that was left in a taxi in Beijing. The location is ideal. it takes about a 20-minute walk to Drum Tower and the Muslim quarter. some food options could improve. The hotel has a few restaurants, but I felt they lacked variety and international choices for casual dining. a great experience with just a few tweaks needed in dining options.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The staff upgraded our room for free after resolving a check-in issue, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast featured a delightful selection, especially the local dishes. Future guests should explore the nearby shopping areas—it made our trip even more memorable!

Recommend it for families

The room we got was a Junior Suite and it was amazingly spacious, well-equipped with a coffee machine and plenty of water bottles. Breakfast was a delightful buffet with local flavors and the staff were incredibly friendly, which made my parents feel comfortable.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but I guess that's what you expect from a decent hotel.

the staff here are super friendly and attentive, makin the stay feel special. the concierge team totally helped us with all our delivery stuff from tabao and made everything easy for us. housekeeping was on point and quick, always makin sure our room was clean. location is great, really close to some nice shopping areas. we loved the breakfast buffet with lots of tasty options.

the only thing was we weren't on a no smoking floor which was a bit annoying. also, wish they had more casual dining options, felt a bit limited.
